Info

Like the last checkpoint , this stage is fake , and it is arguably one of the most annoying checkpoints with tricky obstacles. It Also Introduces Crossing Lasers (it is packed with 2 lasers , one of them is at the top of the same "arch" you see at checkpoint 6 stage 2 , the other laser is on the side of that same "arch" in that same stage mentioned earlier in that sentence , the lasers will NOT destroy the weak-point (purple colored glass) for the laser).

Stages

Stage 1 Part 1

The First part of Stage 1 features zero gravity with lasers , flying glass panes , and there is a explosive ball power up at the start , it is only useful for the 5 cylinders made of metal that are connected to 4 glass bars each in the middle , there are 2 3D Star Crystals at the end. The Music is from the 1st stage of checkpoint 10.

Stage 1 Part 2

The basic schematic of this hypothetical obstacle , Crossing Lasers

The Second part of Stage 1 features normal gravity with Crossing Lasers (read the info for this fan-made checkpoint to see what it is all about) , propellers , glass canons (referred as crashers or throwing glass cubes) , and Crankshafts. There are 4 Octahedral crystals and 1 pyramidal crystal at the end , there is 1 button at the end. The Music is from the Smash Hit Gameplay Teaser youtube video (also shared with zen mode)

Stage 2

Stage 2 is a break-point stage with a infinite ball power-up at the start , there are a minimum of 20 pyramidal crystals in this stage and a maximum of 40 pyramidal crystals in this stage. There are 4 buttons at the end , marking the first 4 button door. The Music is from the 3rd stage of checkpoint 10.

Stage 3

Stage 3 is a boss stage against the Forest Witch. There are no crystals at the start, due to the previous stage being a break point. It takes 40 balls to defeat the boss, so it takes 8 hits with the maximum multiball (5 balls). However , the Forest Witch could shoot 6 Glass cubes from the claws of its tentacle. At the end , there are 2 buttons and 10 3D Star Crystals at the end leading to Checkpoint 18. The music is from the 1st stage of versus/co-op mode (for the intro) and the 2nd/4th stage of versus/co-op mode (boss fight and loops).

Trivia

  • The Forest Witch Boss fight was originally going to be Replaced By Quackity , but that was changed to avoid any Quackity References
