Reflections are a graphical feature in Smash Hit that appear on the room floor. They reflect the environment around them, including glass, balls, and doors when the graphical quality is set to medium or high.
- Doors reflect on the floors, but without the stone in the way.
- Strangely, the glass (usually shards of it) is also shown on the doors, but no stone or balls are shown.
- On balls, reflections exist, but they do not reflect doors, obstacles, crystals, etc. only the room stone around them, so (if you look closely) you can take a sneak peek into the next room! (Good for the Random Rooms Glitch)
- Non-shiny floors will not reflect anything.
- Shiny floors (Introductory Stage, Checkpoint 1, Checkpoint 2, Checkpoint 11 in High Quality) reflectglass, and the neareststone blocks. Going further up, reflections fade away.
- The bottomfloor of the Checkpoints' preview on the Main Menu will reflect light in High Quality, but not medium.
- Even shiny floors (like Checkpoint 2) do not reflect most of the stone. (e.g. you might see the reflection of some shifting glass panes moving by themselves, not attached to the stone railing!
