Description[]

Slows the speed throughout the game, maybe not useful in most stages, but it can help in fast stages.

Appearances[]

Checkpoint Stage Notes
2 4 In Version 0.9.0, in stage 4, where two Infinite Balls should be, there are also two time slows.
3 4 part 1 Debuts here. Useful for taking down Falling Glass Planks.
4 (In-game and in Smash Hit Gameplay) 1 and 2 (Smash Hit Gameplay) Useful to smash the Spinning glass fans or Swinging Hammers or Pop Up/Down Glass Panes
5 3 Not very useful - the stage is not that slow.
8 3 Not very useful - it would have been better placed in the beginning (like the Explosive Ball), rather than at the end! (unless used for Checkpoint 9)
10 2 Ideally, use it in the middle, to break the pyramids in the middle of the stage. (Alternatively, just toss balls randomly.)

A stash of Time Slows (from previous checkpoints) is highly reccommended to be kept in this stage. Use them for the beginning, middle, and end if nessecary (for less experienced players)

Endless Mode

Ideally used the harder parts of the checkpoint (with red and yellow colours). This goes quite fast.

Slomo Test
They're practically everywhere. It was made for this Power-up.
Retro Segments
Version 0.1 2

Glitches[]

It can cause it to go very-slightly backwards (like the Stop Glitch) in slow stages (if the music is turned off from the options, again like the Stop Glitch.).

Changes[]

At one point, Mediocre expressed interest in removing the power-up:

How do you like the powerups? Would anyone mind if we replaced the slow motion one? Any suggestions for new ones? :)[1]

This never happened.
